My copy of the film starts of as a story told my Londo to some children about the war between the humans and the Minbari. It was requested by one of the children.

It starts when earth won a war with a race called the dilcar, with this they try to expand there sphere of influence with other races. But the humans did not want to stop there, they thought that a Mysteries race called the Minbari might be a threat. So they send a fleet of ships to monitor the Minbari movements.

 

 

But this man how was sent in to monitor the Minbari ships decided to get a little to close to one of the Minbari ships which causes it to change course and head right towards them.

The Minbari ships open there gun ports, as a gesture of openness and strength and the captain of the fleet gets worried.

With computers and his crew telling him these are hostile people, he gives the command to open fire.

This is where ducatt, the famous Minbari leader is killed and, where Delenn looses control and starts the war that nearly lead the human race to extinction

But later on she regrets the decision but is unable to stop the war. The war ends up moving on by it's self, I think the warier cast got a little carried away.

Basically the Minbari are an important part of this film. The war has to do with us and them.

The Minbari are a race that is highly religious and managed to make very powerful ships. I expect they had the technology of the last war, to help them.

Before the war, only a few Minbari knew how humans where. Only one know how important we are for the shadow war, but he got killed.

After the war I expect every single Minbari now knows how a human is, and Vice-Vercer. As with other races the Minbari people are split in to three or more casts, Worker Religious and Warier.

It is the Warier cast that involves Minbari and Humans the most.

Ha Bet they never saw that one coming!!!!!!!!!!! No matter how powerful the Minbari are they will never have the power of a Nuke!

We may have started the war but we did not finish it, only a mistake by one of the captains started a war that we had no chance in winning, Well I think we did have a chance if we used Nuke mines and Furies that where remot-controled with nukes in them.

But the Human race did not surrender to despair like other races would have, we thought back with greater strength, We killed a lot of Minbari and and the Minbari killed a lot of us, Despite our lack of power in technology I think we did well. But we could have done a lot better and on the film it looked like the Minbari had indestructible ships which took some of the suspense out of it. Skill and cleverness of humans could have been increased for the time.

For example, Why send a hole fleet of ships in just to investigate a single Minbari transport. Only one battle ship could have gone in. Also, when the Minbari went into earth's space, why did the humans not set mines or Nuke mines in deep space to destroy a good number of Minbari Crosiers, they would have probably lost 75% of there force in that and could not do any thing about it.

Amm, don't like the odds. ..^

The time is up

To the end of the film we were great in the battles, even the Centauri could not believe there eyes at the strength of us and so did the other races, Humans still fought and fought even against the odds.

But we ran out of time. The Minbari wanted earth destroyed so we pulled every ship we had to defend our home planet.

.

And they came, and Boy did they.

We did not stand a chance, they wiped out all the ships, but if humans where smart a few nuke mines would have taken most of them out.

Even Delen could not stand the arrogance of the Warier cast, that was about to slay earth.

So, will earth Survive this Threat that is at it's doorstep?
