  Dylan Hunt (Kevin Sorbo)

When I first saw this person on the show, I didn't think he looked the part. Well, I did get used to Kevin acting on Hercules, so it was a surprise. Anyway down to details.

Acting the Andromeda's captain Dylan has the daunting task of restoring the Commonwealth back to it's former glory. During the ambush, he made a hard decision to get his crew of his ship before steering it into the black hole. (Gee, I would have never thought of that.) Not before getting into a fight with his Nietzschean friend that betrayed him. But after the problems were dealt with, he was the type of captain to ask about did his crew escape safely.

His crew may not understand his tactics about getting out or winning fights but once you stick with what he is doing, you end up saying "Bloody good show." Even though his crew try to take over the ship in the process because they are afraid the he will kill them all with this little plan.

His mother was a genetically-engineered human who was designed for life on heavy-gravity worlds, and this helps explain Dylan's great strength. While his mother was a shuttle pilot, his father worked in the Imperial Gardens on Tarn Vedra, the Commonwealth's capital planet. He also has a wife called Sara, they met when the Magog attacked a small research canter.

Dylan grew up there, in the Human Quarter of Beshanna Tarn, a suburb of the capital city itself.

  Tyr Anasazi (Keith Hamilton Cobb)

First sent onto the ship to kill Dylan and take over Andromeda this, Person soon became part of the crew. Well, most of the time, unless he is trying to take over the ship. Only seen this once or twice?

Tyr is a Nietzschean, Born from the Kodiak Pride he is the only one left from his pride after a war with the Drago-Kazov pride. Yes I know very confusing, but Tyr is always finding ways to restore his pride.

He then soon became a high-priced mercenary, renting out his services to whomever could pay for his service, which led him onboard and Andromeda.

His role on the ship can be described as a Security officer and defense, but he takes on other roles as arguing with the captain and on the first years of the show he tries to kill every one and take over the ship. But as things go, he soon gets to grips with his role onboard Andromeda.

I sometimes get the feeling (In the second Season) that he tries to impress Beka? Don't know if he has something for her or what, but on accession sign's do show. Or it could be me?

Smart and sugductive and violent he make a great addition to the crew, and you know what they say, You can always trust a Nietzschean. Even if he is engineered to kill, sleep, mate, and other relative things too.

I don't think he can be setup for a trap easily, when the Andromeda found a Nietzschean outpost, Tyr went down there to speak with the inhabitence, but they tried to kill him, unsuccessful I may add.

  Beka Valentine (Lisa Ryder)

Amm, What can I say, Likes to fight over authority and does not really like taking orders, likes it when things go wrong on Dylan's shift but when she is in change, well you can guess.

Beka, is captain of the Eureka Maru, a small but nifty cargo ship. She's fiercely protective of her crew, tough as nails, and smart as a whip. The surprising thing is that her farther put nano-bots into her hair so she can change the color to whatever she wants, this was demonstrated once on the show.

You can also think of her as someone that wants to make a quick buck in the middle of things, and since she joined the crew to restore the Commonwealth she hopes to make something from that. But in recent days she saw what Dylan was trying to achieve.

On the Andromeda she's the acting Executive Officer. She grew up on the Maru that was built by her further, Ignatius Valentine and her eccentric Uncle Sid.

The ship was basically use to smuggle anything from drugs to weapons.

Her farther dies from taking Flash? what is that? I don't know, some kind of drug, anyway after that Beka then became in charge of the Maru. Her brother, Rafe Valentine, is a scheming con man who occasionally works as a spy for the Free Trade Alliance.

Trance Gemini Past Trance and Present (Laura Bertram)

What can I say? Purple is a new color I haven't seen, But I must say, Trance is, Cute, Cuddly, Sweet, Innocent, childless, Hot, Sexy, irresistible, £$%$$^%& ????.... Well you can guess the rest, She is probably the only reason why I got interested in the show, and as you can guess, she is the alien I have the hots for, OK, Down to the details about this purple beauty!!!!.

What is her alien Race? Well, no one seems to know, but I have a few theirs of my own, but I have called this race "Unknown Race 5643." Sounds like a Borg Designation right, well beats finding a name for now. (To find out my ideas on the race, look in the race database link.) And a quote from Harper, she's an enigma, wrapped in a riddle, with a tail in the middle.

Her job on the Andromeda is the environmental officer and she also works in the medical bay, she has interest in plants and animals which even goes farther into naming them.

Also one little BIG fact I forgot to mention which I am now putting in, Remarkably Trance cannot be killed using energy weapons or anything in that field. She dies for a short time but ends up coming back to life again, cheerful and happy as ever. (One big misery on another.) I think she has been killed 3 to 4 times so far.

And what's with the purple? It can defiantly be seen a mile off.

You could say that she acts like a big kid, always snooping and getting into trouble, on the opining first season Dylan had trouble caching her as she ran around the ship hiding.

She is part of the Eureka Maru crew as a replacement from the old environmental officer that died. Harper never told her the real reason as she never enplaned her age, language or race. She always seems to get out of trouble, by acting like a child, When Tyr had a little harsh and threatening word with her, she got out of it very well as most people would be dead.

You will notice her long purple tail, amm, I guess how many times it's been steeped on or pulled?

As time goes on you get to see a big mystery starting to surround her and the biggest one of all is where she changes from purple to gold. Look below for that info. If it is not slipstream time travel, she can even predict the future from out of the blue. I can't help get the feeling there is something bigger than anyone knows.

Holy, mother, of, god, I thought Purple was my color, I am now in loveeeeeeeeeeeee.

Just give me a minute to switch my brain back on. ...............

OK, Where did this gold beauty come from. Well to put a finer word onto it I think she came from a altuinent Universe, a bad one to be exact. This also opens more questions about her race. Are they purple or gold? I think neither.

You could say that she is grown up with knolage from the future. This gold beauty sent her self back from time from a aultunet universe to try to change the bad things from happening in this one before it happens. But where did purple trance go? I haven't seen that program so I don't know.

She also has the power to come back to life again. To put it mildly I think she has been killed 3 to 4 times on the show. Poor Trance. How many lives have you got 9.

More stronger and flexible she can pack a punch and really do damage when she wants to, but when an alien entity infected her body she nearly smashed up Romme But in most occasions she is still sweet, kind and still looks after the plants and the crew. But she is more mature and serious, I guess as she is from the future she grew up. The word is that she uses the crew for her own needs from time to time, as well as the crew uses her. I am amazed the hole bunch is still alive.

The rope type thing in her hair I can't really make out. Is it platted hair or bone?? In both trances her face and ears are more less the same, but the only difference is purple to gold and I am fairly sure she is the female of her species. Look in the Race database to find out why I wrote that.

My mind is blocked, Can't think of anything else. Pictures where hard to make, especially if I keep staring at them in the making? Don't worry, I am not nuts, Just nutty!.

  Rev Bem (Brent Stait)

You don't want to meat this fella down a dark ally. He would probably eat you. In fact this spices finds the human race quite delicious and tasteful. Nice thought!

This is Rev Bem and he is a Magog. I am not sure where he was born but I will update the information when I find out. But I do know he was born from a human. You see the Magog lay eggs in there victims, and when the eggs hatch, well. I won't say.

He is the ships Science officer and the remarkable thing about Rev is he belongs to part of the religious sect of the Magog, called "The People Of The Way". Which means that he will not fire the ships weapons or any reason. But even in hand to hand combat he can be a fears warrior. He can also spit out some type of venom to stun people that are in it's way for several minuets. I have seen this done from time to time.

As you may have fought he is hairy all over, with a unpleasant look to the face. I must say, you would know a Magog when you see one.

Wise and understanding this Magog is a respected member of the crew.

Unfortunently he leaves the show after the Magog attack the ship for some reason. Pity, he played the part well.

  Seamus Harper (Gordon Michael Woolvett)

This individual is someone you would call Mr. Beguiler Mister Fix it. Yip you guessed it, he fixes things.

Harper was born on what's left of earth, in Boston. His parents thought it would be a good idea to move into the country to escape the Nietzscheans, but got attacked by the Magog, so they went back to the safety of the Nietzschean camps. But his parents where later killed by the Nietzscheans.

As he fixes things he goes from one place to another just to make is way Beka then got hold of him and he is been the Eureka Maru engineer.

As they moved onto the Andromeda he is now the mechanic of the Andromeda. And from what I see on the net he is forever fixing things all the time. Well after all the battles they do I am not surprised

Also from his fixing skills, he is all full of him self. Funny to watch sometimes. Little bit like me.

Like anything he always ends up getting into trouble with one thing or another. Another thing important is that he has a data port on the side of his neck with allows him to interface with computer in a VR Environment, unless he gets kicked out or his mind is fried.

One bad thing that Harper has is a poor immune system, which can cause a lot of problems when he in infected with a various or something.

As anyone else he is interested in Bear, Money and Women. He is also still after a certain person called Gerentex who owes him a lot of money and killed trance

  Andromeda (Lexa Doig)

Hay, I can spell Andromeda without thinking about it Now. Not one bit of importance right?

OK, Who is Andromeda, well she is the Ships AI. Or Artificial Intelligence, during the first and maybe the second season before her memory core was wiped she had a crush on her captain Dylan. But Regulation forbid romantic relationships with a captain and ship.

Any way not much to say. Controlling everything on the ship she knows what you are up to, and she can do anything from opening doors to arming weapons. It seems that an AI, is made to work with the crew. There where several times where Andromeda and the Crew came across some Higard Ships, but they either did not work or went insane.

Lots of robots repair the ship which she has control of and Harper used one of these robots and a base line for making her Flesh Self as it is said. So instead of her appearing in projectors around the ship, she is now a moving android. This leaves several problems. So you have the AI on the ship and you have a ..... Basically a copy in an android. Running around the ship and from time to time you get to see them arguing with each other Nice ha.

Harper made the Android in every detail, but for his use, and you can guess why, but evidently he did not get what he wanted. Never mind Harper.

There are three main components to Rommie's personality. "Viewscreen Rommie" appears on monitors, and identifies most strongly with the ship itself. "Android Rommie" is the personality of the humanoid ship-made-flesh Avatar, and has the most intense emotions of the three, especially toward Dylan. "Holo-Rommie" appears as a shimmering hologram at various places on the ship, and falls somewhere between the others on the emotional scale.
